The 2024 Paris Olympics are coming to an end this week, and there is only one person equipped to hand the summer games off to Los Angeles: Tom Cruise .

Variety reports that Cruise will be making an appearance at the closing ceremony, according to a source close to the Olympics organizing committee. Though the details of his performance are still under wraps, Cruise was spotted filming a scene while riding a motorcycle with a large flag. French blog Sortir à Paris reports that the actor was seen driving a motorcycle from the Arc de Triomphe, along the Champs-Élysées Avenue.

Cruise has already been spotted at several events at the Paris Olympics, including women’s gymnastics and swimming. He also got caught in the rain with Hoda Kotb , who is also in Paris for the Olympics.

According to Variety ‘s report, the closing ceremony will showcase “new interpretations” and will “take spectators on a journey through time, both past and future” as it highlights milestones of the Olympic Games.

It has also been confirmed that Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo will be handing the Olympic flag to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass during the closing ceremony. Could this be the flag Cruise was spotted filming with? Only one way to find out.
