Even though the Paris Olympics just ended, there’s an entirely different set of Olympians planning to make a return for Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians .
Helmed by author Rick Riordan and co-creator and showrunner Jon Steinberg , Season 2 will be based on Riordan’s second book in the PJATO series titled The Sea of Monsters .

Although an official release date for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 has not yet been announced, Disney revealed at D23 that the forthcoming season will premiere in the fall of 2025. All episodes will be available to stream on Disney+ as they debut on the platform.
What will Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 be about?
According to the Percy Jackson panel at D23, Season 2 will be based on Rick Riordan’s second book in the PJATO series titled The Sea of Monsters . Sandra Bernhard , Kristen Schaal , and Margaret Cho have been cast as The Gray Sisters who will stay central to the storyline.
In Season 2, Percy not only learns he has a Cyclops brother Tyson (played by Daniel Diemer ) but has to protect his camp from an attack by Kronos.
