The NFL preseason is in the books! It was an eventful three weeks for some teams — Skylar Thompson likely earned the backup quarterback job in Miami and Velus Jones Jr. gained 111 rushing yards against the Chiefs on Thursday night as he attempts to make Chicago’s 53-man roster — while other squads made minor adjustments as they prepare for the regular season.
The first game of the 24-25 campaign takes place Thursday, September 5 when Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs host Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on NBC, Peacock, and NFL+. But what about the first Monday night game of the year? When exactly does Monday Night Football start?
