Taylor Frankie Paul is getting candid about her swinging scandal. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, who blew up #MomTok with the bombshell confession, opened up about how she and her now ex-husband began “soft swinging” with their other Mormon influencer friends in a recent episode of Nick Viall ‘s Viall Files podcast.

Paul explained that she and her ex-husband were in an “open relationship” with her former best friend and her husband, though she carefully avoided naming names.

“It wasn’t even a conversation [when it started]. I think we were all drinking and partying,” she recalled. “And then the guys were like, ‘You girls should make out. Make out. It’s hot.’ And we were like, ‘OK, it’s hot.’ So we make out. And that’s that and I feel like I had done that in my younger years so it wasn’t a big deal to me.”

According to Paul, the same thing happened at the next party. “And then it was like, ‘Let’s take off your clothes and do lingerie pictures together while making out.’ It just escalated,” she said, later revealing that they would play blindfolded spin the bottle in which the husbands would kiss her and she’d have to guess who it was.

Paul said their dynamic with the one couple lasted “a while,” with the “girls kissing and the husbands touching the other wives.” And it wasn’t until a year later that they invited another couple into their escapades.

“Me and my husband start to escalate with this couple because they’re like more down … We were at a cabin and I’m with this other man completely naked, we’re about to go full force. And then he’s with the wife [and] he’s about to go full force,” she said, noting that her then-husband ultimately put a stop to things when he came to the realization that one of the wives could get pregnant and no one would know who the father was.

Paul’s husband then suggested that they start swinging with strangers rather than people they were friends with, but she didn’t want to stop. Instead, she ended up “catching feelings” for one of the other men, who also “caught feelings” for her. When she stepped out of their agreement that nothing would happen “behind closed doors,” Paul and her husband ended up getting a divorce.

“It was kind of like three out of the six caught feelings,” Paul added. “I had an emotional affair. We were all texting each other weirdly anyways. It was just a weird thing.”

While the content creator hasn’t named anyone specifically — and her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives co-stars have all denied partaking in swinging — internet sleuths believe they know two of the couples who were in involved with Paul and her ex-husband.

Brayden Rowley admitted to being a part of the group and hinted at being the man Paul cheated on her husband with in an August episode of his OnlyDads podcast, per SheKnows . He and his wife McKenna Rowley split up shortly after Paul outed the swinging scandal to the world. Brayden also said he learned not to “have an affair again” and not to do it with a “TikToker.”

His podcast co-host Chase McWhorter, who split from his wife Miranda McWhorter in 2023, also confessed to being in the group. Plus, Paul referred to Miranda as her “ best friend ” in an April 2021 Instagram post. However, both McKenna and Miranda have not confirmed whether or not they were involved.
