In wake of her ex-fiancé Devin Strader dropping a 13-minute video response to last week’s dramatic Bachelorette finale, Season 21 lead Jenn Tran took a break from Dancing With the Stars prep to return to Nick Viall’s podcast The Viall Files and set the record straight .

For those of you who missed Devin’s Instagram Drama , he spoke on “his truth” regarding their breakup and Tran’s “After the Final Rose” comments while sharing months of text messages, call records, and intimate conversations between the two. After Bachelor Nation deemed the video a disgusting violation of privacy, Strader deleted and re-posted an edited version that removed intimate messages, but he’s since deleted that version as well.

In the Viall Files episode recorded on Wednesday, the day after Strader’s post, Tran told listeners, “I’ve been kind of just focusing on myself, focusing on Dancing with the Stars , focusing on having fun and putting energy back into myself. But truthfully, there is a lot going on in the back of my mind, and I’m still trying to process it at all. I’m still trying to just heal… And I feel like every second I’m getting there, I’m getting a little bit better, there’s something else that comes out that breaks it all over again.”

‘The Bachelorette’s Devin Strader Posts 13-Minute Video Addressing Jenn Tran’s “Absolutely Asinine” Finale Claims: “This Is My Truth”

Tran acknowledged that she knows healing is not a linear journey and she’s been through heartbreak before, so she knows she’ll ultimately be OK. But she also said, “I’m not going to lie in to hear that and say that I’m like 110% OK. I’m not. And I think it’s okay to also admit that.”

As for The Devin Drama, Tran said, “I have not seen the video and I don’t plan on it… I know what happened. I don’t need to watch a 13-minute video on it. He’s wasted already six months of my life. I’m not going to give him another second, let alone 13 minutes.”

When Viall asked Tran why she believes Strader feels so misunderstood and is choosing to share his truth in such a controversial way, Tran said, “I have no idea why somebody would do this, let alone [why] somebody that I was engaged to would release private texts between us two. When you get engaged to somebody, when you’re dating somebody, your first thought is never, ‘Oh my gosh, these texts might actually be blasted for the whole world to see.’ That is such an invasion of privacy.”

Tran explained that “so many” friends and family members reached out to alert her of the video, saying, “I truthfully felt so betrayed, so disrespected, and honestly just upset and disappointed.”

“I don’t have a problem with him going out there and saying what he needs to say, but I have a problem with him invading my privacy and releasing texts without telling me, without just giving me notice,” she said. “And also…he conveniently blurred out certain things but forgot to blur out other things that were very, very private. It’s like, my mom’s on the Internet, dude. What’s up with that? It was disrespectful and I don’t appreciate it at all.”

Viall also asked Tran to weigh in on the hot mic moment where a confused Strader was heard saying something along the lines of, “What’s going on here?”

“I honestly have no idea why he said that. I have no idea why he thought it would — I don’t know where he thought it was going to go,” Tran said before reiterating past claims that the two were not talking in the lead-up to After the Final Rose. “I have no idea his mindset that week because he, truthfully, we hadn’t been talking that week. And the week before that, I got some very mean messages from him, and we just were not on good terms because I had asked to talk to him without the cameras, and he had agreed, and then suddenly ghosted me and suddenly was not on the same page as me. And I wanted to have that conversation off camera so he knew how anxious I was going to be going there. That’s not OK to, for the first time, be seeing your ex-fiancé on a stage. And he denied me of that right to have a conversation with him before that. So I don’t know what he thought was going to happen.”

Tran described her feelings during the three-hour live finale event as “a roller coaster of emotions” and said she didn’t know what to expect but she was always going to question the way things ended between them. The Season 21 also touched on all of the Devin Drama that came out in the week since the finale, saying, “I wanted to put it in the past at AFR. I’m like, this is it. I just want to be done. And then every day something is popping up. The pictures with the girl, people DMing me, he’s making out with this person on this date, and he’s flying to the airport with this girl on this date, blah, blah, blah, blah.”

Before Tran switched to Dancing With the Stars talk, she suggested this would be the last time she talked about the breakup with Strader, and stressed that she wants to move past the heartbreak. “I don’t need this breakup to be drawn out for six months. I’m done with it, and I’m ready to move on. And at this point in my life, the way that he has been behaving and releasing our texts, and whatever else that he’s doing shows to me that this is not the kind of person that I would ever want to spend the rest of my life with anyways.”

“I’m ready to move forward with that and know that I’m at the right place in my life right now. And everything truly happened for a reason. Like, it was a blessing in disguise when it happened,” Tran said. “And I’m grateful for it, despite all of this mess.”

Jen…you wasted your time by not seeing the large red flags. You were so eager for your Happier Ever After that when he told you that HE needed to hear how you felt…it was always about him.
