Mark Consuelos Drops Cheeky Nickname For One Of His And Kelly Ripa’s Children On ‘Live’: “Made In Montreal”

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos teased a cheeky nickname for one of their children — one that has quite the backstory.

On Live with Kelly and Mark this morning, Ripa read that “the Hawaiian island of Maui is the most romantic destination to visit with a partner,” usurping Paris. However, she and Consuelos pointed out a silly yet sobering truth.

“When you travel to romantic places, no matter how romantic and beautiful they are, if you are with your children, you don’t really understand the romance,” she teased. “You’re like, ‘This is romantic? I don’t get it.'”

Consuelos piggybacked, “If you’re with a bunch of kids, the last thing you’re thinking about is making more kids.”

Ripa mentioned that Aspen, Colorado and New York City also ranked in the top 15 romantic cities to visit with your partner, the latter of which Ripa noted is “very romantic.” However, this prompted Consuelos to bring up a city that proved to be romantic for him and his wife.

“One of our kids, his nickname is ‘Made in Montreal,'” he quipped. “Very good city.”

While Ripa said that Consuelos’ statement “is true,” she could not hide which child they were referring to for long.

“Won’t tell you which one, but he’s our youngest,” she let slip. “Shoutout to Montreal.”

Ripa recalled that she and Consuelos had gone on a trip for their wedding anniversary, and that Consuelos’ parents had taken the kids.

“We were like OK, we’re going to go away for two days. What could possibly happen?” she joked.
