Jenna Bush Hager Says Her Husband Reprimanded Her For Saying She Thinks It’s “Attractive” When People Flirt With Him: “I Do!”

Jenna Bush Hager admitted on Today that she still finds it “attractive” when people “hit on” her husband — even though he doesn’t want her to announce that on national television anymore.

She confessed this to Hoda Kotb during Friday’s (Sept. 13) broadcast when they took a moment to vote for People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive poll, which included the category for “the sexiest long-married star.”

The co-hosts seriously deliberated their options — Denzel Washington , Kevin Bacon , Ted Danson , and Tim McGraw — before they realized they were talking about men who had been married for at least 25 years.

After both co-hosts agreed on McGraw, with Bush Hager pointing out his “abs,” Kotb pointed out, “We love Faith [Hill] and we love Kyra Sedgwick. We love everybody’s wife! It sounds very weird to be like, ‘Wow check out his…,’ you know, especially because they’ve been married for 25 years.”

She then added, “Stop ogling over them!”

But she later turned to her co-host and asked how she would feel if her friends spoke about her husband, Henry Hager, this way.

“I told you I liked that,” Bush Hager replied. “But then it got picked up [in the news] and Henry was like, ‘Huh? Don’t tell everybody you like it when girls hit on me!’ I do!”

Kotb wasn’t buying it, though. “You wouldn’t like it if it happened all the time, 24/7. You would not like it. You like it when it’s sporadic,” she replied, and Bush Hager agreed.

Bush Hager also pointed out that she wouldn’t like it if “people were voting for him like he’s meat” in a poll like People ‘s. “Like he’s salchicha ,” she joked, using the Spanish word sausage. She then incorrectly told Kotb that it meant “meat” in Spanish.

Bush Hager has previously said that she likes seeing others flirt with her husband because it reminds her that he’s “still got it.”

“This may be weird, but sometimes I like it when people flirt with Henry. I don’t know why cause it’s like, ‘Oh, baby girl’s still got it,’” she confessed. “Also, I am very secure in our relationship.”

She insisted even as Kotb asked if he was “flirting back with the girl.”

“If it’s a very small amount, I find it attractive. He wouldn’t do it a lot,” Bush Hager responded.
