Jenna Bush Hager’s Daughter Secretly Shared A Video On Instagram Of Her Teaching Her Dad How To “Rizz”: He “Was Not Excited About It”

Jenna Bush Hager ‘s daughter secretly uploaded a video to Bush Hager’s Instagram account of a rather private moment their family shared – and her father was reportedly not happy about it.
Bush Hager told Hoda Kotb all about it during Wednesday’s broadcast of Today With Hoda & Jenna . But not before they shared the hilarious video on national television.
The video showed their 11-year-old daughter Mila teaching her dad, Henry, how to “rizz up mom.”
In the video, Henry dramatically falls to the floor of their kitchen. “Ugh, I fell… for her,” he says from the floor.
“No, no, I scraped my knee… falling for you,” Mila corrects him. She then calls her mom down to the kitchen so her father can perform his new trick for her.
After Bush Hager enters the kitchen, Henry dramatically falls at her feet before proclaiming, “I fell… for you.”
“That was my rizz of the week,” Mila tells the camera. “See you next week, rizzlers!”
When the broadcast cut back to the Today hosts, they had both dropped their jaws in shock.
She explained to Kotb that the “rizzling” began earlier that evening during dinner when Henry offered her some sparkling water. “[Mila] was like, ‘No, don’t just say here’s your sparkling water! That’s not romantic! Say something like, ‘Are you Jesus? Did you turn water to wine? Because you’re so fine,'” Bush Hager recalled. “I was like, ‘Wait, what is happening here?’ She drops some line on him.”
She explained that she was upstairs when “that little dramatic interpretation of what rizzling up looks like” happened. “I was called into the kitchen and he fell at my feet, which I thought he was having a heart attack.” She then laughed when Kotb pointed out that she looked like she was “stepping around” him on the ground. “I didn’t even lift him up, which is so rude,” she said. “I didn’t know, I thought he was dying of something.”
Bush Hager explained that she and Henry were both shocked to learn that Mila had secretly shared the video to Bush Hager’s Instagram account that evening. She wasn’t aware until she started receiving messages from friends about it.
“I’m just telling y’all, a little PSA for all my moms of tweens out there, my child does not have a cell phone, she just got an iPad last year. She’s 11, she edited that video, she filmed that video she posted it on my stories,” she explained.
Kotb asked, “I know what the fallout was for you, what about for Henry?”
“Henry was not excited about it because he thought that was a private moment that the two of them were having,” she explained. “[Mila] doesn’t have social media, there’s nowhere for her to post that. He didn’t think that was a public situation.”
She later removed the video from her social media, per Henry’s request. But she admitted that she didn’t “get mad” at Mila because she thought it was “creative.”
“I said to Henry, ‘Just to be clear, nobody was commenting on you. Everybody was like, ‘Mila is hilarious, love her lols! Rizzler of the week,'” Bush Hager said.
“She’s so creative,” Kotb told her co-host. “You raised a girl just like you.”
Today with Hoda & Jenna airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.
