You’ll Never In A Million Years Guess Which ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 7 Contestant Is Secretly Rich!

I can’t get enough of the rollercoaster of romantic calamity known as Love Is Blind . I enjoy everything about this avalanche of will they/won’t they/should they Cupid on cocaine fever dream of lovestruck chaos. The cozy comradery between the singles? Warms my heart. Watching the families of the contestants as they desperately try to remember to say “experiment” instead of “reality show”? Love it. Nick and Vanessa Lachey popping in three times a season to crack a few jokes and offer a platitude or two about relationships as they dangle their love in front of these sexy singles like a butcher teasing a parade of hungry dogs with a day-old T-bone steak?
Hell yeah, man. Hell. Yeah.
The first six episodes of Love Is Blind Season 7 just dropped on Netflix, and they are like a Picasso in a sea of finger paintings. Every season of LIB has its fair share of intrigue, but this one also comes with… a mystery. Most streamers won’t catch this little tidbit, but eagle-eyed fans may have picked up on the fact that one of the contestants is… shh … quite affluent.
The breakout character of Love Is Blind Season 7 is Leo Braudy, a professional art dealer who, and this may shock you, is wealthy. In the first episode, Leo casually mentions he has an “interesting and lucrative” job as an art dealer and that one of his biggest insecurities is that a girl “only wants [him] for money.”
Leo dropped a few subtle hints throughout the first episode that his bank account may contain a few extra digits.
Leo becomes entangled in that classic Love Is Blind staple known as a love triangle, developing romantic feelings for both Brittany and Hannah. When one finds themselves in a love triangle, they start to ask the questions that truly matter. Who am I? What do I value the most in a partner? And…
Sure. Sure, sure sure. But it’s not like Leo was talking about money all the time . I’m sure there are other things he enjoys…
Ugh. No! Not today. Honestly, let’s just go back to the money thing…
Did I mention how excited I am that Love Is Blind is back?
All kidding aside, Leo, who is hands-down the MVP of Episode 1, got the Richie Rich edit from the Love Is Blind team, who seemingly went out of their way to point out how much he talks about money. To production’s credit, they also showed Leo talking about the sad circumstances that led to him inheriting the family business, with multiple members of his family succumbing to cancer over a three-year period.
The Leo/Brittany/Hannah love triangle progresses throughout the season. How exactly does all the drama end? I’m glad you asked. In a shocking turn of events, Brittany dramatically shows up to the Tree Hill basketball game, soulfully stares at Leo, and says…
Wow. We did not see that coming. That’s just damn good television.
The first six episodes of Love Is Blind are now on Netflix. New episodes premiere Wednesdays in October on the streamer.
