This season of USA’s The Anonymous might almost be over, but that doesn’t mean the game is winding down. With shocking eliminations, exciting challenges, and treacherous strategies, the contestants who remain in the competition are more competitive than ever. With heavy-hitters like Big Brother winner Xavier E. Prather and former frontrunner Jack Usher out of the game and numbers dwindling, players are no longer able to fly under the radar.

Usher was wise to Nina Twine’s famous lineage—her mother is Survivor legend Sandra Twine-Diaz—but the other contestants haven’t seemed to notice the family connection. If Usher hadn’t vocalized his suspicions to Marcel Cunningham and Christopher Shulstad, Twine might have been able to coast all the way to the finale. Unluckily for Twine, Usher did.

In this exclusive sneak peek, Cunningham, Twine and Shulstad are in the kitchen snacking and talking about their fathers. “My dad looks like The Rock, but like 5’10”, 5’11”,” says Twine. “He’s big.” Seizing his opportunity, Cunningham tells Twine Usher’s theory about her. “Jack said you were the daughter of a Survivor winner,” says Cunningham cooly. “Yup,” confirms Shulstad. “The most successful reality game show winner.”

As Twine feigns confusion, the camera cuts to Cunningham in his confessional. “I called her out to see what she would say,” Cunningham explains. Back in the kitchen, Twine continues to play dumb. “I think I’ve watched Survivor like once because Billie Eilish sang it in a song,” she says. “That’s weird.”

In her own confessional, Twine freaks out to the cameras. “Oh my god,” Twine exclaims. “How did this not come out before?” As she frets in her chair, Twine says the only thing going through her mind is “don’t react, don’t react, don’t react.”

Returning to the kitchen, Twine twists her face in bewilderment. “That’s what Jack said,” Shulstad says. Cunningham jumps in: “We were like, ‘we never watched Survivor enough to know who it could be.'” “Me neither,” replies Twine quickly. Too quickly.

In her confessional, Twine continues to fret. “I got to get over these hurdles.” Twine decides her best play is to lie about her mother’s identity. Back in the kitchen, Twine plays down her mother’s ability. “My mom is not physical at all,” explains Twine to Cunningham. “She would not be a challenge winner, that is for sure. She’s not an outdoorsy person.”

Now it’s Cunningham’s turn to speak to the cameras. “She was like, ‘what?'” imitates Cunningham. “‘My mom’s a queen; she’s not even outsdoorsy.'” Suddenly, Cunningham’s lighthearted ribbing turns more serious. “With the finale being a face off, I’m terrified because it is so hard to tell if Nina is telling the truth or not.”

Will Twine crack under the pressure and confirm her identity? Will Cunningham continue his mind games? Tune into the penultimate episode of The Anonymous this Monday at 11/10c on USA Network.
