The reimagining of the classic series of the same name, CBS’ modern version starring Queen Latifah has been a ratings hit for the network and earned a fifth season pickup in April 2024.

“ The Equalizer , led by the incomparable Queen Latifah, has all the best elements of a powerful drama,” President of CBS Entertainment Amy Reisenbach said back in April . “The series is stacked with suspense, heroism, high stakes, and formidable characters our audience roots for. We look forward to another dynamic season.”
