Snoop Dogg Blames Hoda Kotb’s Candles After They’re Caught In His Suspiciously Smoky Dressing Room On ‘Today’: “We’re Feeling Really Good”

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager got up to some wild antics when Snoop Dogg visited 30 Rock to guest host Today With Hoda & Jenna .

The daytime hosts kicked off Thursday’s (Oct. 17) broadcast with a hilarious skit that showed a producer fetching them from Snoop’s smoke-filled dressing room to start the show. “Hoda, Jenna, are you guys ready?” the producer asks in the skit.

Kotb and Bush Hager can be heard coughing as they finally open the door and step out of a huge cloud of smoke. “We’re feeling really good,” Bush Hager says. “Let’s go. Snoop, you ready?”

“Yes I am ready,” the rapper replies, before adding, “But Hoda, these meditation candles are so damn smoky.”

The stoner humor did not stop there. Snoop appeared pleased to be seated between Kotb and Bush Hager during the morning broadcast. He had the Today ladies in stitches as he joked, “You know what we call this? We call this a wake and bake. This is what we do around my neighborhood, we wake and bake.”

They were later joined by Snoop’s good friend and frequent collaborator Martha Stewart , who was visiting Today to promote the release of her 100th book. Stewart led the co-hosts through a hilarious cooking tutorial on “half-baked” brownies that led Bush Hager and Snoop to make a couple of naughty jokes about getting baked after the show.

“Is this considered half-baked?” Snoop asked Stewart as he helped crush Oreo cookies for the recipe. When she confirmed, he promptly replied, “Okay, I am too.”

Stewart didn’t miss a beat as she responded, “I know, that’s why I said it’s yours.” Stewart then continued explaining the recipe as she said the brownies had to be put in the oven again so they can be fully baked, which inspired Bush Hager to ask the rapper, “Are you there yet or no?”

“Not yet, but I’ll be there,” Snoop promised, prompting Bush Hager to laugh and add, “After the show.”

Snoop fit right in on the show. He helped Kotb and Bush Hager offer advice to their viewers during their favorite segment and weighed in on the coolest Halloween costumes for kids, offering his own insight as a father and grandfather.
