Bristow, OK (July 21, 2024) – A solid field of twenty-two entries made the trip to compete at Salina Highbanks Speedway. The night's three heat races would be won by Wout Hoffmans, Gage Laney, and Johnny Kent. With the lineup set for the night's main event, it would be Alex Sewell leading the first 9 laps before something went wrong in turns 1 and 2, ending in Sewell sliding off the top of the track. Seven Injured in Crash in Derby
Seven people are injured following a Sunday morning car accident in Derby, KS. The accident happened around 11am yesterday when two vehicles waiting at a red light were struck from behind by a third vehicle. A total of four people were taken to nearby hospitals following the accident – two with critical injuries and two with serious injuries. No names have been released but the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that three of those hospitalized are children.

PUEBLO COUNTY — A wanted Kansas suspect captured at a motel in Colorado is scheduled to return to a Kansas courtroom on Monday. Ryan Antalek, 40, Wichita, is charged with criminal discharge of a firearm, aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, stalking, two counts of criminal threat, and criminal damage to property, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
