    Inked: Recent LI real estate deals

    1649 Deer Park Ave., Deer Park

    Efficient Mechanical, an HVAC contractor, purchased a 2,700-square-foot office building on .27 acres at 1649 Deer Park Ave. in Deer Park for $689,000. Jeffrey Horn of Schacker Realty represented the buyer, while Steven Rainone of Netter Real Estate represented the seller, Lee and Lee Realty Inc., in the sales transaction.

     

    105 E. Jefryn Blvd., Deer Park

    Hoboken, N.J.-based Faropoint purchased a 40,000-square-foot building on 2.2 acres at 105 E. Jefryn Blvd. in Deer Park for $8 million. The deal was a sale/leaseback with the seller, Jefryn Park Realty LLC, an affiliate of Nanz Custom Hardware, which will now be leasing the property. Nanz is a manufacturer of doorknobs, hinges, handles, locks, latches and related metal hardware. Faropoint is a commercial real estate investment firm that focuses on last-mile warehousing and distribution facilities. The Deer Park property is Faropoint’s second acquisition on Long Island. The company, who’s portfolio has more than 300 properties totaling over 20 million square feet in the U.S., also owns a 24,000-square-foot building in the Heartland Business Center at 180 Heartland Blvd. in Edgewood. Faropoint was self-represented, while Tommy Rosati, Brandon Lichtenstein and Jason Maietta of Colliers represented the seller, Jefryn Park Realty LLC, in the Deer Park sales transaction

     

    176 Route 25A, East Setauket

    Your Wireless of East Setauket LLC leased a 1,400-square-foot retail space in the Ridgeway Plaza Shopping Center at 176 Route 25A in East Setauket. Your Wireless of East Setauket is part of a large ownership group of Verizon stores across the country. The tenant was self-represented, while Aric Schachner and Lorraine O’Hara of CAMCO Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord, Ridgeway Plaza LLC, in the lease transaction.

     

    70-2 Remington Blvd., Ronkonkoma

    Mylos Corp. leased 3,200 square feet of industrial space at 70-2 Remington Blvd. in Ronkonkoma. Michael Zere of Zere Real Estate Services represented the tenant, as well as the landlord, Clark Industries Inc., in the lease transaction.

     

    11 Skyline Drive, Plainview

    385 Trading, Inc., a products distribution company, leased 6,500 square feet of industrial space at 11 Skyline Drive in Plainview. The space was formerly occupied by a New York City-based retail clothing firm. Tana Cairen of E Realty International represented the tenant, while Gregory Picker and Dillan Morris-Timoney of Industry One Realty represented the landlord, Skyline-Medico Realty LLC, in the lease transaction.

     

    10 Kean St., West Babylon

    Arsenal Scaffold purchased the 11,565-square-foot building on .72 acres at 10 Kean St. in West Babylon for $3.4 million. The property was formerly occupied by Blueprint Insulation. Founded in 1998, Arsenal Scaffold provides scaffolding, shoring, hoisting, sidewalk bridges, shed enclosures and construction fences throughout the New York metropolitan area and western Pennsylvania. The company has been headquartered at 95 Jersey St. in West Babylon and also has a location in Verona, Pa., according to its website. Jeremy Hackett of Metro Realty Services represented the buyer, while Mario Asaro of Industry One Realty represented the seller, 10 Kean Street Property LLC, in the sales transaction.
