Authorities Rescue Two Out of Cold Spring Harbor After Sailboat Overturns
The Public Information Office reports the details of a Water Emergency that occurred on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 5:58 pm in Cold Spring Harbor. According to Police, 911 received a call for an overturned sailboat in distress in the waters of Cold Spring Harbor. Nassau County Marine 7 responded and located the disabled 14’ sailboat. Bay Constables assisted the two occupants and safely transported them to Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park. The occupants were not injured and refused medical attention. SeaTow towed the vessel back to the marina.

Cinema Arts Centre debuts Political Film Festival

Walgreens Closing Select New York Stores
The big-name pharmacy has released a list of stores that are expected to close as the company finalizes a plan to fix its struggling business. Earlier this month we told you that Walgreens CEO Tim Wentworth announced that the company would be closing hundreds of its more than 8,600 drugstores over the next three years.
