MILWAUKEE – A 17-year-old girl is dead and nine other teenagers are injured after a shooting early Monday morning in Milwaukee’s Dineen Park. The shooting around 12:30am followed a fight that broke out after what’s being called an “impromptu car party” in the park on the city’s northwest side.

5 Wisconsin communities offering a new option for mental health treatment
People on the verge of a mental health crisis or a relapse of substance abuse often face a catch-22. They know that they need help, but their situation isn’t yet dire enough to merit hospitalization. And so they’re forced to struggle as best they can, either waiting to hit rock bottom or struggling to find stability.
WARM, BUT NOT HUMID TODAY... STORMS LIKELY TOMORROW
Our Monday is going to be warmer, with inland high temperatures in the low to middle 80s. Despite those toasty temperatures, it really won’t be all that humid for this time of year. However, a south-southwest breeze will start pulling in more moisture tonight. Look for more of a muggy feel to your Tuesday.

Mayors Monday: Weston Administrator Jami Gebert and Public Works Director Michael Wodalski
WESTON, WI (WSAU) — Two new water wells are online in Weston, but that won’t be the end of their water infrastructure upgrades. Public Works Director Michael Wodalski says the new wells will allow them to shift attention to cleaning up other issues without interrupting service. “We won’t have to worry about being low on water,” said Wodalski. “We can do well rehabs, clean up secondary contaminants like iron and manganese that cause aesthetic issues in some of our wells.”
Wisconsin National Guard to showcase opportunities for females in flight
Women interested in learning about potential careers in military aviation will have more opportunities to hear from subject matter experts at this year’s EAA AirVenture. “This year we are expanding our support of WomenVenture into multiple days, and we are excited to share our stories again with the public,” said Capt. Meredith Porter, battalion training officer for the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 147th Aviation Regiment — a UH-60 Black Hawk unit — in Madison, Wisconsin.
MORE RAIN & STORMS TUESDAY
Another round of spotty thunderstorms will continue overnight as our next weathermaker gets into the area. Low pressure pushing a front across Wisconsin will create clusters of showers and thunderstorms. Some storms may have downpours, partially due to the higher humidity. While Tuesday’s severe weather outlook is LOW, tomorrow is now a First Alert Weather Day due to the higher impact the weather may have on big events like AirVenture in Oshkosh and Green Bay Packers Training Camp. It’s going to be a little cooler with highs in the 70s, but it will be a muggy day.
