Augusta County Sherriff’s Office Searching for Runaway Teen
AUGUSTA COUNTY (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance with locating a runaway juvenile. According to a release from the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office, Jathan Johnson was last seen on Thursday, Aug. 29, at his Staunton residence, but was reported Friday by a family member.

Cassell cousins face a grand jury for Churchville shooting charges
AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) - A pair of cousins will have their charges appear in front of a grand jury after a shooting incident in Churchville left two teenagers injured. Isaiah and Matthew Cassell are accused of shooting toward a crowd of people near the intersection of Buffalo Gap Highway and Churchville Avenue on June 22 — leaving a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old with single-wound gunshots in the legs. Both victims survived the incident. In court documents, Isaiah is accused of shooting from the passenger seat of a black Ford Mustang. After shots were fired, Matthew drove away from the scene.
Surveillance photos released of 2 robbery suspects linked to burglaries in DC and Virginia
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - The Fairfax County Police Department has released surveillance photos of two suspects linked to multiple burglaries in D.C. and Virginia. Police continue to investigate two burglaries in McLean and are seeking the community’s assistance. Officers responded to a burglary report in the 7500 block of Leesburg Pike in McLean on August 27 at 2:04 a.m.
