    Defiance common pleas

    Reid Keeley, 22, Stryker (CCNO), pleaded guilty to failure to provide notice of change in vehicle information and identifiers, a fourth-degree felony. She was given a nine-month prison term to run consecutive to terms reimposed in two other cases for community control violations for a total of 54 months imprisonment. She was given credit for three days served in jail while her cases were pending.

    William Field, 22, 2002 Baltimore Road, appeared for sentencing on a charge of illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits or WIC program benefits, a fifth-degree felony. He was placed on community control for two years with conditions, including that he not possess or use cannabis.

    Kyle Blackston, 35, Lima, pleaded not guilty to strangulation, a fifth-degree felony; and assault, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for March 21 and bond was set at $50,000 with a 10% allowance provision.

    Keith Curran, 42, 632 Grover Ave., pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for March 21 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Allena Moreno, 25, Montpelier, pleaded not guilty to possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony; and operating a vehicle while under the influence of a listed controlled substance or a listed metabolite of a controlled substance, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for March 21 and she was given a personal-recognizance bond.
