    Defiance common pleas

    Robert Donley Jr., 44, Ney, pleaded guilty to cruelty to companion animals, a first-degree misdemeanor. He was placed on probation for three years, fined $1,000 and ordered to pay restitution of $3,183.45.

    George Salazar Jr., 32, 23987 Ohio 66, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), each a fifth-degree felony. He was placed on community control for two years with conditions, including that he complete the SEARCH program in Bowling Green and not consume or possess cannabis.

    Brandi Yoh, 33, Oakwood, pleaded guilty to attempted tampering with evidence, a fourth-degree felony; and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for June 17.

    Ryan Gibbs, 40, 62 Charnel St., pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony; and OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 20 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Roger Rowe, 42, 1505 E. Second St., pleaded not guilty to improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony; and OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 28 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.
