    Defiance common pleas

    Thomas Baldwin, 42, Toledo, appeared for sentencing on a charge of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony; and OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor, according to Defiance County Prosecutor Morris Murray’s office. He was placed on community control for two years, given 20 days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio (CCNO) and his operator’s license was suspended for four years. On Nov. 4 on Ohio 18 in Hicksville, Baldwin operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and fled from officers in his vehicle before coming came to a stop at a Hicksville residence.

    Rowan Dumbrow, 20, Hicksville, pleaded guilty to domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor, and was placed on probation for two years.

    Ashlee Kelty, 35, 801 Ralston Ave., appeared for sentencing on a charge of tampering with records, a third-degree felony. She was placed on community control for three years with conditions, including that she pay $8,555 in restitution to Defiance/Paulding County Consolidated Job and Family Services. She falsified a benefit application from the above agency.

    Jennifer Long, 36, Bethel, appeared for sentencing on charges of aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), a fifth-degree felony; and OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor. She was placed on community control for two years, given 180 days in CCNO with 177 days suspended and given a one-year operator’s license suspension.

    Isaiah Schultz, 19, Napoleon, pleaded guilty to domestic violence and endangering children, each a first-degree misdemeanor, and was placed on probation for two years.

    Ryan Sprow, 46, Lima, appeared for sentencing for two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs (methamphetamine), each a fourth-degree felony, and was placed on community control for two years with conditions, including that he complete a residential treatment program.

    Emilio Gonzalez, 24, Napoleon, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 17.

    Dale Kelley, 42, Maumee, pleaded guilty to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, a second-degree felony; and theft, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 15.

    Douglas Thomas, 32, 1687 Durango Drive, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, and possession of cocaine, each a fifth-degree felony; failure to appear as required by recognizance, a fourth-degree felony; and endangering children, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 24.

    Shaiton Andrews-Hurley, 28, Indianapolis, pleaded not guilty to breaking and entering, theft, and forgery, each a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was set for June 12 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    James Freeman, 54, 725 Summit St., pleaded not guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was set for June 17 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Eldon Howe-Anderson, 35, Stryker (CCNO), pleaded no contest to two counts of sexual battery, each a third-degree felony, and was found guilty. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 9.

    Tristan Liechty, 27, Styker (CCNO) pleaded guilty to theft, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 8.

    Justin Reyes, 29, 605 Euclid Ave., pleaded guilty to telecommunications harassment, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 11.

    Joe Suarez, 41, Paulding, pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 11 and bond was set at $1,000 with a 10% allowance provision.

    Jerry Stevens, 66, Archbold, pleaded not guilty to OVI, a third degree felony; and assault, a fourth degree felony. A pretrial hearing was set for July 9 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Taleya Thomas, 35, 1508 Terrawenda Ave., pleaded not guilty to two counts of telecommunications fraud, each a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was set for June 17 and she was given a personal-recognizance bond.
