Jaelyn Welch, who has been filling in for Martinelli since she was injured in a game Dec. 27, has been wearing No. 31, the same number as Martinelli.
Girls basketball: Norskies fall to Milton
Jada Kelliher scored 17 points, but the DeForest girls’ basketball team fell to Milton 54-47 at home in a Badger Large Conference tilt on Tuesday, Jan. 23. Kelliher added four rebounds, two assists and one steal, as the Norskies trailed 27-23 at halftime. Alexis Accuardi was a force inside for DeForest, hauling in a team-high 10 rebounds and finishing with four blocks, to go with seven points.
