Playing at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee seems to agree with the DeForest girls’ basketball team.

Led by Rylan Oberg and Ally Armstrong, the Norskies downed Sauk Prairie at the home of the Milwaukee Bucks on the afternoon of Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Oberg had 13 points and Armstrong finished with 12, as Oberg drilled three 3-pointers. Armstrong scored nine of her 12 points in the second half, as Jada Kelliher added nine points to the Norski cause.

DeForest is now 14-9 overall and 6-8 in the Badger Large after the Badger Conference crossover victory over Sauk (13-10 overall, 7-6 in the Badger Small).

The win snapped a two-game losing skid for the Norskies, who lost 58-38 to Oregon on Saturday on the road. No statistics were available at press time from that game.

On Tuesday, Feb. 6, the Norskies trailed Beaver Dam 27-17 at the halftime of a 52-40 Badger Large Conference defeat. Kelliher scored a team-high 15 points, while Oberg finished with nine points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals. Jordyn Derlein had eight points, four boards and three steals. Armstrong chipped in with seven points.
