WATERLOO — Two people from New Albany died when the Jeep they were driving in left the roadway and rolled over just before 12:30 p.m. Friday, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office reported. The victims have been identified as Dennis Corolla, 55, and Janice Walthall, 62.
2 die in I-69 crash in DeKalb County
Two southern Indiana adults died Friday in a Jeep crash on Interstate 69 in DeKalb County, the county sheriff’s department said Friday night. Dennis Corolla, 55, of New Albany, was driving north on the interstate about 12:30 p.m. near the 336-mile-marker when for an unknown reason his Jeep left the road and drove into the grass median, the sheriff’s department said in a statement.
Corunna man hurt in crash
CORUNNA — A Corunna man was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 4:48 p.m. July 12 in the 400 block of C.R. 34, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office reported. Police said Brian Villafuerte, 36, suffered a bruised and swollen left knee and abrasions on the lower left of his back.

ST. JOE, Ind. (WPTA) - The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a truck hit a utility pole late Tuesday night. Police say a truck was driving northbound in the 5900 block of State Road 1 in St. Joe when it drove off the road and hit a utility pole just after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
