DEKALB, Ill. (WTVO) — Three people are in the hospital after a crash that happened after 5 a.m. Friday morning.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said a speeding Ford Expedition lost control on Rimsnider Road, north of Miller Road, went off the road and into a ditch where it rolled over several times before stopping upside down, back on the roadway.

All three occupants were injured, police said. Two were taken to a Kishwaukee Hospital and a third, an 18-year-old, was airlifted to OSF St. Anthony in Rockford, suffering from “major injuries.”

The driver, Sindy Xolcoc, 22, of Elgin, was cited for no valid driver’s license.
