New Program Creates Leadership Training for Agriculture, Forestry Industries
It’s time for the Tennessee agriculture and forestry industries to develop new crops of leaders in their field. The Naifeh Center for Effective Leadership, an agency of the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service (IPS), the UT Institute of Agriculture (UTIA), the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and other partner agencies have developed the Tennessee Agriculture and Forestry Leadership Program (TAFLP). Allardt Taking Bids For Water Tank Rehab
Allardt currently taking bids on a rehabilitation project for its two elevated water tanks. Project Manager Cain Reed said they will empty the tanks, blast the metal, repair any defects, and add a new coating system that will protect the metal and ensure clean water for the city. Reed said the local community should not see any differences in their water services while the work is in progress.
