DOVER — As Delaware prepares to regulate its recreational marijuana industry, creating a socially equitable path forward has become a priority. “We’re using a broader net to ensure we increase access to a brighter future. Regional pavement company buys Seaford terminal
SEAFORD — Delaware’s lone asphalt terminal in Seaford was acquired by a regional pavement materials company earlier this spring. Russell Standard acquired the plant on Nanticoke Avenue in early April in a bid to expand its reach in existing markets of Pennsylvania and Maryland. Delaware retains AAA rating ahead of bond sale
WILMINGTON — Delaware continues to hold a perfect AAA bond rating in renewed reviews as it prepares for a $359 million general obligation bond sale in the coming days. The Kroll Bond Rating Agency and the top three U.S. bond rating agencies, Fitch, Moody’s and S&P Global, all retained Delaware’s highest possible ratings, making the 24th consecutive year that it was able to receive unanimous confidence. Delaware has “exceptional financial resilience from strong management” from the financial cushion from saving policies, according to Fitch.
