92-year-old man dead after tractor crash in Delaware County

DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 92-year-old man is dead after a crash involving a tractor in Delaware County Tuesday morning.

OHP said William Rainier was in a parked tractor on the side of East 330 Road, 2 miles south of Grove, around 10:30 a.m.

OHP said 83-year-old William Adams was driving a car eastbound on 330 Road and hit a piece of Rainier's tractor that was four feet into the road. Adam's car landed on its side in the road.

Rainer was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead Monday morning.

OHP said the cause of the crash was inattentive driving.
