Irish was second to Quinn Whitaker with 50 goals and 64 points. She topped out with seven goals in a blistering of Notre Dame in the regular season and added four in dispatching Penn Charter and Notre Dame. She had 11 games of at least three goals, including four in the first round of the PAISAA tournament and three in the semifinal win. Fittingly, the junior has committed her lacrosse future to Notre Dame.

Event raises awareness about infant deaths
Sleep-related infant deaths is a concern for area health professionals and with three occurring in Chester in May alone, advocates want to sound the alarm. Keystone First partnered with the City of Chester and the Foundation for Delaware County (FDC) to host an educational event about safe infant sleep, last week. An Upper Darby man has been sentenced to a year behind bars for his involvement in a mail theft scheme that targeted U.S. Postal Service collection boxes in Delaware County, PA.
