Stepping into Casablanca Moroccan Restaurant feels like being transported to a vibrant Moroccan souk. The atmosphere is lively, especially with the belly dance performances that add a unique touch of culture and entertainment. The $25 set meal is a journey through Moroccan flavors, featuring dishes like the egg nut chicken patty and roasted lamb that are both delightful. The mint tea, although a bit too sweet for my taste, still complements the meal well.
Service here goes beyond just dining; the staff are eager to share their knowledge of the cuisine and even teach a few Arabic phrases. The experience of having our hands washed with rose water before the meal added a luxurious touch, reminiscent of true Moroccan hospitality. While the hookah lounge offers a separate space for those interested, it's worth noting that it can get a bit loud, though the staff are accommodating if you need the music turned down.
From the delicious spicy stewed chicken to the impressive fruit selection, every course was a treat. Although the b'stella wasn't exactly what I expected, the overall dining experience was memorable and definitely worth revisiting for anyone looking to enjoy a slice of Morocco without leaving town.
