Area Agency on Aging 3 to host Fall Prevention Day
August 26, 2024, Press Release from the Area Agency on Aging 3: LIMA, Ohio – The 10 Million Steps to Prevent Falls campaign, held annually by the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) is returning for September 2024, and ODA is asking community partners to host local walking groups and events to raise awareness of older adult falls.

Pioneers Scorch Scots, Move To 4-0 On The Year
MILFORD CENTER – The Jonathan Alder varsity volleyball team picked up a win over visiting Highland Saturday, moving its record to 4-0 on the year as the Pioneers beat the Scots in straight sets, 25-23, 25-13, and 25-15. Ali Hayes had a team high 18 kills to go along with 6 aces, 11 digs, and 2 blocks. Kylie Trout came up with 15 digs. Kacey Anderson delivered 14 assists and added 6 digs, while Addison Garman handed out 12 assists to go along with 7 digs. Lily Boeckl put away 4 kills and added 1 block. Peyton Hanna had 3 kills and tallied 6 blocks. Addison Schumacher contributed 4 kills and 2 aces. Kailey Miller recorded 3 kills and Abby Middendorf put away 2 kills.
