    Well, hello, First Staters.

It’s Throwback Thursday, so here is a look back at Firefly , which at least for the moment, is no more.

Instead, we have Mondegreen and jam band Phish. More on that in a bit.

Speaking of fireflies (OK, bad segue …), lanternflies are back in Delaware. Here’s what you need to know to protect your plants and trees from this invasive pest.

With Tropical Storm Debby in our rearview, we are now keeping an eye on Ernesto . We will keep you updated with the latest on this latest storm, which as  write this is a Cat 1 Hurricane.

    And now, more news …

Nearly a year ago, Phish fans sprung into action and booked hotel rooms in Dover for a rumored music festival weekend at The Woodlands: The rumors proved true and the Mondegreen festival kicks off today, with 45,000 fans expected to flood the area.

For some of them, however, their pre-planning to secure rooms near the festival grounds at regular rates eventually morphed from a good idea to a bad dream this week.

    Ryan Cormier has the details.

As Mondegreen gets underway, bringing a sea of tie dye and improvisational vibes to the former site of Firefly, here is a closer look at the festival:
