    Police identify 3-year-old child fatally struck by car while riding bike in Seaford

    Delaware State Police have identified the 3-year-old child fatally hit by a car while riding a bicycle on Thursday as Osiris Ocampo Tovar of Seaford.

    Police said Tovar was riding in the Manufactured Home Community in Seaford at 7:45 p.m. when a car turned onto the road and hit him. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

    The driver who hit Tovar, a 56-year-old Seaford woman, was not injured. No charges have been announced by police.

    Police are continuing to investigate the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact Master Cpl. K. Argo at 302-703-3264 or send a Facebook message to Delaware State Police. Information can be provided anonymously by contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-847-3333.
