Avelo Airlines announced Aug. 22 that it is extending its flight schedule out of the Wilmington Airport until April 29, 2025.
Avelo will offer 11 destinations out of the Wilmington Airport, with six new flights coming this fall.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Wilmington, North Carolina will not be available through the spring but will be available to book through Nov. 4 and Nov. 5, respectively.
The schedule was originally set to be re-evaluated in November, but the airline has confirmed that most of the current destinations will be set until next spring.

What current flight destinations will remain?
The following destinations are currently available and will continue to be available to book through April 29, 2025. Frequency changes may be implemented this fall, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL)
Flights to Fort Lauderdale fly twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays until Aug. 18.
Fort Myers, Florida (RSW)
Flights to Fort Myers fly out of Wilmington on Mondays and Fridays through Nov. 4
San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU)
Flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico, the only destination outside of the continental U.S., fly out twice per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays through Nov. 2.
Tampa, Florida (TPA)
Flights to Tampa will fly out twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays through Sept. 26. Beginning Sept. 29, frequency will increase to three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays through Nov. 5.
New destinations available this fall
These four flights will be coming to Wilmington Airport in November and will be available to book through April 29, 2025.
Atlanta (ATL)
Beginning Friday, Nov. 8, flights will begin traveling to and from Atlanta on Mondays and Fridays.
Daytona Beach, Florida (DAB)
Beginning Thursday, Nov. 7, flights to Daytona Beach, Florida, will take off on Thursdays and Sundays.
Palm Beach, Florida (PBI)
Starting Friday, Nov. 8, flights will take off to Palm Beach, Florida, once again on Mondays and Fridays.
Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida (SRQ)
Beginning Saturday, Nov. 23, travelers can fly to Sarasota, Florida, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
In late July, Avelo announced that flights to Concord, North Carolina, and Lakeland, Florida , also would be made available from the Wilmington Airport starting in early November.
Concord/Charlotte, North Carolina (USA)
Flights to Concord/Charlotte, North Carolina, will begin Nov. 8 and fly out Mondays and Fridays.
Lakeland/Orlando, Florida (LAL)
Beginning Nov. 7, flights to Lakeland, Florida, will take off Thursdays and Sundays.

What flights will not be returning after this fall?
These two destinations will be available through early November, but will not return for the spring season.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, (MYR)
Myrtle Beach flights resumed on Friday, May 3, and fly twice a week Mondays and Fridays until Aug. 30.
Beginning Sept. 2, flights will increase to three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through Nov. 4.
Wilmington, North Carolina (ILM)
Wilmington, North Carolina, flights returned to ILG on May 3. Flights occur twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays through Sept. 2.
Beginning Sept. 5., the days of flights will change to Thursdays and Sundays for the remainder of the month. On Oct. 1., the frequency will increase to three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays through Nov. 5.
