Eagles injuries: A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Lane Johnson not practicing. Who's left at WR?

PHILADELPHIA − It's quite possible that the Eagles could be missing their top two wide receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Neither Brown nor Smith practiced Wednesday as the Eagles held a walkthrough session. Brown has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, while Smith suffered a concussion early in the fourth quarter on a brutal hit by Saints defensive tackle Khristian Boyd during the Eagles' 15-12 win.

In addition, right tackle Lane Johnson sat out practice, and left guard Landon Dickerson was a limited participant with a wrist injury. Johnson suffered a concussion in the second quarter against the Saints. Dickerson played the entire game.

The Eagles did get some good news as right guard Mekhi Becton (finger) was a limited participant in practice and cornerback Darius Slay (knee) was a full participant after leaving the game against the Saints when he was blocked into the Saints' sideline.

But the wide receiver situation is most concerning for the Eagles, who on Tuesday put Britain Covey on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Covey has to miss at least four games. The Eagles could be led at receiver by Jahan Dotson (3 catches, 14 yards this season), rookie Johnny Wilson (1 catch, 9 yards) and practice squadder Parris Campbell (2, 13).

The Eagles added veteran John Ross to their practice squad Tuesday.

"We'll plan for everything," Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said. "Like I said from the very beginning, I really have a lot of faith in that wide receiver room ... I know Jahan hasn't had a ton of catches, but I think he's been playing efficient football. And sometimes it's just a matter of seeing it, and then going out there and planning some more things for him and doing some more things to get the ball in his hands."
