Montour County, Pa. — One person is dead and two were injured as a result of an afternoon crash on I-80 westbound today, according to police. At 2:47 p.m., police responded to a three vehicle crash on Interstate 80 westbound at mile marker 221. According to Pennsylvania State Police, a Roto Rooter truck driven by Nicholas Troxell, 29, was driving eastbound on Interstate 80 when, for unknown reasons, it drove into the west bound lanes. ...

$5.9M in Tax Credits to Boost Affordable Housing in Philadelphia
HARRISBURG, PA — Senator Vincent Hughes has announced substantial funding for affordable housing in Philadelphia’s 7th district. Over $5.9 million in Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) will support four new rental housing projects, bringing 163 affordable units to the area. Of these, 39 units will be accessible for individuals with disabilities. The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency will manage these tax credits.

Montgomery, Pa. — A woman’s husband exposed her for stealing Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) funds to cover credit card debt and personal expenses. E. STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- Court records out of Monroe County allege a 43-year-old man recorded two girls and an adult woman in the bathroom with hidden cameras. John Swineford, 43, of East Stroudsburg is accused of recording footage of a 17-year-old and 12-year-old without their knowledge. A woman, also known to the man, is listed as an additional victim in the documents.
