Krispy Kreme is Selling a Dozen Doughnuts for Just 87 Cents, but There's a Catch

It's not often that you get a gift on someone else's birthday, but Krispy Kreme is gifting customers an amazing deal on a dozen doughnuts to help the brand celebrate its 87th birthday.

Krispy Kreme announced that it would be celebrating 87 years of incredible doughnuts by offering an 87-cent Original Glazed dozen with the purchase of any dozen doughnuts at regular price.

That sounds absolutely amazing, but there's a catch.

Krispy Kreme loves celebrating its birthday with its fans. Last year, it celebrated its 86th birthday by offering a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just 86 cents.

“Treating our fans on our birthday is a long-time tradition,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer, in a press release. “A dozen Original Glazed® doughnuts for just 87 cents when you buy any dozen is a sweet way for us to thank our fans who have kept us going all these years.”

So what's the issue? The deal is available for only one day only: Friday, July 12. That means you have to act fast to cash in on it!

Plus, the one-day-only sale is limited to two dozen doughnuts total when purchased in-shop and via drive-thru. If you purchase online using the code “BDAY” you are limited to one dozen when purchased for pickup or delivery at participating shops across the U.S. while supplies last.

Other Krispy Kreme Deals

The doughnut company, which was founded in 1937, is offering other great deals this month, too.

Krispy Kreme is also giving away free doughnuts to its Rewards Members for the entire month of July. People who have signed up on the app are Rewards Members and can score a free doughnut every Tuesday for the whole month.

Each week, your doughnut choice changes, so you get something new every time, which is great if you have been wanting to try select doughnuts from any of the doughnut company's new collections. For the first week, the company offered a free doughnut from its new Star Spangled Sweetness Collection , and this week's doughnut selection came from the Kit Kat Collection , which Krispy Kreme brought back for this week only.

Krispy Kreme hasn't released information on what the remaining freebies will be for the last three Tuesdays of the month, but we can't wait to see what amazing goodies they roll out. We're still hoping one of the weeks will have doughnuts from the Dolly Parton Collection .
