Few things are as tasty as a freshly baked cookie. However, finding the time to make them from scratch can be difficult, especially if you’re working full-time and raising a family. Not to mention, keeping everyone happy by making their favorite variety is even more challenging—until now.
This clever hack simplifies the process and provides a unique opportunity to create four different tastes. It’s a genuinely brilliant idea you’ll be excited to try!
Check out this video from June 16 to see how easy it is to make them.
This is so smart! Tawnie @ krollskorner is totally changing the baking game with her sensational hack. We get the bonus of having four flavors, and we won’t be stuck scooping out the dough, either. We don’t even need to pull out our mixers, and each variety will be made using one sheet pan. How easy is that?
Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Then, whisk in sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla before folding in the dry ingredients.
Use a kitchen scale to ensure each flavor is made in equal amounts and divides the batter into four bowls. Then, add ingredients like chocolate chips, spices, and sprinkles to create her flavors.
Divide the baking sheet into four quadrants. Add each flavor, and spread the cookies evenly. When they finish baking, sprinkle on a little more of each topping.
Cool and slice. Once they cool, they're sliced into squares and are ready to serve. Total perfection!
The possibilities for this tray of sweets are endless. We can make everything from chocolate cinnamon peanut butter to oatmeal raisin or Butterfinger . A few sea salt flakes and caramel drizzle might also be divine. If you have a sweet tooth and nowhere to go, you could always whip up a batch of these cookies and then cut and freeze them to enjoy whenever a craving strikes.
People were impressed by this savvy idea. Viewer @holly responded, “A smart cookie for sure! Never thought of that!” It’s brilliant! Viewer @S remarked, “This is how all my cookies turn out, just not intentionally.” Ha! Well, now you have a clear path to success. Viewer @OnlyFlans responded, “The only change I’d make is not cutting them so I can proudly declare I’ve only had one cookie today.” Smart! I like the way you think!
I look forward to trying this terrific idea the next time I’m in the mood for cookies. And with this recipe being so easy, that might be today.
