But how they arrived at this riverfront location is genuinely uplifting.

A Colorado Winery’s Inspiring Story of Perseverance

This beautiful location is owned by trained chefs Marcel and Julie Flukiger, who have been locals in the Denver Foothills community since the mid-90s. Their passion for wine-making began as a hobby but soon became a booming business. However, their journey to success didn’t come easy. Their first location, established in 2009, was struck by lightning in 2011, resulting in a fire and the loss of their special events venue. However, they persevered and transformed an automotive repair facility into a bigger and better location. Unfortunately, in 2016, a runaway semi truck plowed through the building, destroying everything they had worked to build. Thankfully, with the support of their community, they reconstructed from the ground up, taking advantage of the views of the magnificent property. In 2018, they opened this new location, which includes the patio and riverfront dining offered today.

Award-winning wine! In the winter, on the weekends, they offer snowshoeing and fondue. Pets are allowed on the patio, which is perfect for our guests who travel with theirs.
