OBITUARY: Lynn Tice Riley

DELMAR – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Lynn Tice Riley born on June 6, 1943, and passing on April 20, 2024, at the age of 80. Lynn is survived by his wife, Carolyn Riley, his two daughters Jill Weems and Kim Whitney, and three grandchildren. Lynn was born in Catskill, N.Y. He spent his youth enjoying go-kart racing and playing the drums in a band. Lynn graduated from Hudson Valley Community College and worked for Eastman Kodak as a photographer but spent most of his career working for WTEN Channel 10 in Albany, N.Y. While working as a Production Manager he had the opportunity to make and comedically act in commercials showing that Lynn had a special gift of making others laugh. In 2004, Lynn retired to Ponce Inlet, Florida where he enjoyed golfing, biking, tennis, walking, swimming at the beach, and spending time with his family. Florida was where he earned his nickname Pa. Pa loved to amuse and entertain and his grandchildren learned early on to always take what Pa said with a grain of salt. Lynn Tice Riley was loved very much and we will always carry his memory in our hearts.
