Find out who readers picked as the Bayside South Football Player of Year in preseason poll

The votes have been cast and fans of Bayside South high school football have decided on their pick for the 2024 Fan's Choice Delmarva Now Bayside South Preseason Player of the Year.

Snow Hill's Christian Russell won the fan's choice poll, receiving 50% of the vote with 6,125 of the 12,056 votes in total. Russell made the All-Bayside Conference honorable mention team in 2023. Coming in second place was James M. Bennett quarterback Liam Nelson with 2,663 votes, and in third place was Stephen Decatur's Ethan Bradshaw with 1,448.

The Snow Hill Eagles kick off their season at home at 6 p.m. against Annapolis Area Christian.
