Here are the Delmarva Now Player of the Week nominees for Sept. 23-29

Every week this high school sports season, fans across Delmarva will have the chance to vote for the Delmarva Now Player of the Week.

Nominees are selected based on their performance over the previous seven days: Sept. 23-29.

Anyone can submit a candidate for consideration by emailing abranch@delmarvanow.com . You must email the athlete's name, school, sport and stats from that week.

Votes will only be counted from the poll below. Do not email your vote .

Voting will open on Monday and close Wednesday at 3 p.m. A breakdown of each athlete's week is available underneath. The winner will be announced on the Delmarva Now Facebook page.

Here are the nominees for this week:

Allie Collins (The Salisbury School Girls Soccer)

• Scored four goals in their win over Worcester Prep last week.

Tavian Dashiell (Parkside Football)

• Caught two touchdown passes in their win over Kent County last week.

Meredith Evans (Holly Grove Field Hockey)

• Scored two goals in their win over St. Michael's last week.

Riley Matthews (James M. Bennett Girls Soccer)

• Scored a hat trick with three goals in their win over Wi-Hi last week.

Yaseen Mohammed (Washington Boys Soccer)

• Scored a hat trick with three goals in their win over Mardela last week.
