The rural family medicine residency at the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas is a collaboration between the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) in Kansas City, Kansas, and CHC/SEK. Emporia man charged with attempted first-degree murder
An Emporia man has been formally charged with attempted murder after an alleged incident earlier this week. Justin Colby Barrett, age 34, was charged Wednesday with attempted first-degree murder and six other counts, including three counts of aggravated battery, and single counts of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated child endangerment and criminal threat.
