The document, titled "The Way Home: 2021-2023 Progress Report," showcases the strides the city has taken as a part of its larger Minneapolis 2040 Comprehensive Plan, according to the Minneapolis, City of Lakes. The focal point of the success story is the creation of 4,679 affordable housing units funded by nearly $365 million since 2018. By these numbers, Minneapolis has significantly increased its output compared to previous years’ averages.
