Back to School Basics

Unity of Delray Beach Church is hoping to help kids start out the next school year right.

They are collecting backpacks and school supplies for local children in need.

The Church asks for donations to be dropped off Sundays through Thursday, until August 1. Items can be place in the baskets in the Bookstore lobby at the south entrance. Or donations can be dropped at the church office during business hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. (closed noon to 1 p.m.)

If you prefer not to shop for backpacks and supplies, Unity of Delray Beach will accept donation and do the shopping for you.

Requested school supplies include:

Backpacks, Pencils, Rulers, Post-it notes, 3-ring binders, Spiral notebooks, Composition notebooks, Pens (blue, black, red), Colored pencils, Glue Sticks, Pink Erasers, Washable Felt Markers, Pencil Cases, Lined Paper, Plain Paper and Kleenex.
