    ROCHESTER NY - To report Section V softball scores: Coaches or team representatives are asked to send Section V softball scores as soon as possible by emailing sports@democratandchronicle.com . Please include a name and contact number.

    The Section V softball scores for the 2024 season will be listed below by date.

    Section V softball scores for Thursday, March 28, 2024

    Livingston County

    Caledonia-Mumford 15, York 0

    CM: Emma Years 3 hit shutout 8Ks; Madison Wyskiel 3 for 4, 4 runs scored 2 RBIs; Shea Drazkowski 2 for 3, 2 runs; Mia Wilson 2 for 3 double and an RBI, 2 runs; Isabella Cochran triple and 2 RBIs; Bri Lynn solo HR.

    Y: Brianna Parsons, Meredith Holland, & Rylee Cuozzo all had singles.

    Wayne County

    North Rose-Wolcott 11, Red Creek 3

    NRW: Peyton Westurn, Alydia McIntyre and Olivia DeBoerdere had 3 hits apiece. Winning pitcher, DeBoerdere fanned 14.

    Monroe County

    Pittsford Mendon 15, Spencerport 0

    PM (2-0): Lilly Goldberg 10 Ks, 1-hitter; Maddie Fallows 3-5; Arina van Baaren 2-3; Leila Fay 2-3; Bella McGowan, Cam Lauterbach 1 hit each.

    Canandaigua 8, Brockport 3

    C: Emerson Broomfield 2-4, 8K 3 hits 1 earned run; Sarah Goodsell 2-5, 2 RBI; Ariana Buchiere 2-4, Delilah Liddle 2-4; Kennedy Allen 2-3, 2B, 2 RBI, 1 run; Sophia Principio 1-3, 1 RBI, 2 runs, Olivia Kessel 1-2 and 3 runs scored.

    B: Hanna Carpenter 3-3, 2B, 3B, HR, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored.

    V: Abby Harris single, Audrey Steinorth double; RBI singles by Olivia Steniorth, Jordyn Wilcox and Kennedy Chizuk.  Olivia Steinorth surrendered three this and 0 runs over four innings, 5 Ks, one walk.

    Webster Schroeder 8, Rush-Henrietta 1

    WS: Liana DeValder 2-hitter, 13 Ks; 3-3 with 2 doubles and a RBI; Kinsley Keil was 3 for 3 with a double, RBI, run scored, and sac bunt; Bizzie Baglieri was 2-3 with a double, 3 runs scored, 2 RBIs, and a walk. Leah Murray was 1 for 3 with a sac fly, RBI, run scored, and stolen base; Sarah Ferruzza was 1 for 3 with a RBI, run scored, and stolen base.  Emma Juliano was 1 for 2 with a sac fly and RBI. Amber Kohlmeier had a sac fly.

    RH: Elizabeth Gleghorn had an RBI single.

    Livingston County

    Warsaw 4, York 3

    Y: Merideth Holland 9Ks; Ava Beardsley, Becca Lee and Havyne Wetmore all scored a run.

    LeRoy 8, Perry 5

    L: Lily Uberty 3-4 1 RBI; Lila Fortes 2-4 2 RBIs; Dana Reschke 2-4 1 RBI.

    Non-league

    Eastridge 16, School of the Arts 1 (5 inn.)

    E: Harper Kuehne 11 Ks; JJ Siembor 2B, 3B.

    Kendall 20, Medina (Section VI) 5 (6 inn.)

    K: Brooke Rodas 4 for 4 at the plate with two singles, double, 3 run HR, and 9 RBIs; Isabella D'Agostino added two hits; Alea Barrett went 1 for 1 with a single, four walks, and 5 runs scored; Danielle Offhaus scattered six hits, 5 Ks; Teagan Shaw, Maggie Zastrow, and Sophia Picardo 2B each.

    Wayne County

    Marion/Gananda 27, Clyde Savannah 8 (5 inn.)

    MG: Isabella Dirlam drove in 7 runs on 2 hits ending the game with a double and a triple; Lyda McKay and Reagan Quigley also had doubles; Lydia McKay pitched all 5 innings and walked off with 7 Ks.

    CS: Drahms double and a triple. Smart lead the team with 2 RBIs.

    North Rose Wolcott 21, Red Creek 1

    NRW: Olivia DeBoerdere hit for the cycle with 7 RBIs.  Emily Nevlezer had 2 hits including a HR and 4 RBIs.  Aj McIntyre pitched a 2 hitter with 10 Ks.

    RC: Ryleigh Holiday HR.

    Livingston County

    Livonia 12, Perry 4

    L:

    Keira Weber starts the season strong with 18 strikeouts, giving up 2 hits.  She went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 RBIs. Jaelyn Morris and Lydia Clymo went 3 for 5 with a double for each.   Zanyah Yisrael went 3 for 4 with a double and 3 RBIs.  Peyton Leitten and Madi Monteleone each added 2 hits.

    Wayne County

    Marion/Gananda 12, East Rochester 5

    MG: Addison Sturgis lead the team at the plate with 3 RBIs and 1 home run; Lydia McKay ended the game with 12 Strikeouts.

    Monroe County

    Pittsford Mendon 6, Greece Storm 1

    PM (1-0): Lilly Goldberg was 3-4 and struck out 14 to earn the win. Maddie Fallows & Bella McGowan each had 2 hits to lead the offense.

    Eastridge 3, Gates Chili 0

    E (1-0): Jalissa Crittenden pitched a complete game with 12 strikeouts; Emma Johnson had a HR in the 1st inning.

    Honeoye Falls-Lima 16, Canandaigua 3

    HFL: M. Gathercole 3 IP with 3Ks; E. Dunman 4 IP with 10Ks; K. Dailor 4 hits; E. Dunman 3 hits; M. Dunman 3 hits; M. Gruschow 2 hits, 3 RBI; J. Fowler 2 hits; M. Gathercole 2 hits; A. Richards 1 hit; M. Schubach 1 hit; G. Leathersich 1 hit.
