    Vote: Who is the Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Week?

    It's time to take a look at the standout performers from Section V .

    Your vote will determine who will be the Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Week for April 15-21. The players' credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will be announced on our Instagram page Wednesday morning.

    All athletes who play on Section V girls teams are eligible to be nominated.

    Kamyra Clyburn

    Monroe's junior scored eight rushing touchdowns and passed for two more in her team's two wins this past week. She totaled over 400 yards of total offense during the week

    Hanna Davis

    The senior scored her 300th career goal to keep Canandaigua undefeated Saturday. She scored four goals and had three assists in the 20-3 win over Clarence in girls lacrosse.

    Olivia DeBoerdere

    The sophomore collected seven RBI in North Rose-Wolcott's win over Clyde-Savannah Saturday. She had four hits in the effort including a double, two triples and a home run.

    Giana Ficcaglia

    The Penn Yan pitcher racked up 50 strikeouts over four games this past week. In Friday's victory over Geneva, she also had two singles, a triple and a home run.

    Lauren Murphy

    The junior won four events (triple jump, long jump, 4x100, and 4x400) during the meet against Penfield to help her Fairport team remain undefeated in the league. She followed that performance by leading Fairport to a victory over 20 other schools by winning the triple jump, 200, and 4x400 relay at the Depew Wildcat Invitational.

    Catherine Rogers

    The Webster Thomas senior scored in four different ways in the team's win over Churchville-Chili Thursday. She threw a touchdown pass and also found the end zone via a rush, a reception and an interception.
