Meet the 2024 All-Greater Rochester Boys Nordic Team

The All-Greater Rochester Boys Nordic Team was selected by coaches with input from Democrat and Chronicle and Daily Messenger Post sportswriters.

Skier of the Year

Year: Junior

Parents: Julie and Arne Larsen

Key accomplishment: Sectional champion.

Future plans: Looking forward to my senior Nordic ski season of high school.

Year: Senior

Parents: Nipa and Mark Armbruster

Key accomplishments: 6th.

Future plans: Plan to go to Middlebury College.

Year: Freshman

Parents: Kellin King and Matt Bellizzi.

Key accomplishment: Making it to states.

Future plans: I plan to keep skiing through high school.

Year: Senior

Parents: Jennifer Frese  and Zachary Burke

Key accomplishments: Bouncing back in the states classic relay to take fourth with consistent and strong legs from the whole team.

Future plans: I will attend Bowdoin College, studying chemistry and running cross country and track and field. I’ll keep skiing for fun.

Future plans: Major in the hard sciences and keep skiing if I go somewhere cold for college.

Key accomplishment: Qualifying for Junior Nationals.

Future plans: Undecided, would like to ski in college if possible.

Future plans: I plan to study engineering and continue skiing and running in college.

Key accomplishment: 5th at sectionals.

Future plans: I plan to study biology in college.

Year: Sophomore

Key accomplishments: I went to nationals.

Future plans: I want to study physics or some STEM major. I also want to get to nationals next year.
