Rochester Regional Health (RRH) is highlighting recently installed a new mural at the Multicultural Resource Center by Rochester artist Shawn Dunwoody .

The artwork depicts a lively park filled with a diverse range of people with different abilities, ethnicities and ages. It also features the “iconic” Frederick Douglass -Susan B. Anthony Bridge.

“When trying to design and think about this piece, we wanted to have those individuals that come into this space see a representation of themselves on the wall. We wanted people to feel connected, safe, and a bit protected” said Dunwoody, who was selected by the community for the project.

The campus provides a wide range of RRH’s medical services to the surrounding neighborhood while providing additional services such as legal & employment assistance and nutrition classes to the uniquely diverse patient population utilizing the facility. There is also a small food bank, community conference room and computer lab with internet access on site for patient use.
