    Vote: Who is the Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Week?

    It's time to take a look at the standout performers from Section V .

    Your vote will determine who will be the Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Week for May 13-19. The players' credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will be announced on our Instagram page Wednesday morning.

    All athletes who play on Section V girls teams are eligible to be nominated.

    Kristina Baller

    The Webster Thomas junior intercepted her 12th pass of the season to help the Titans win one of two Section V girls flag football tournament games.

    Lily Brady

    Brady, Honeoye Falls-Lima's senior goalie, recorded her 400th career save in a win over Churchville-Chili last Wednesday. Brady denied 7 of 12 shots against in that game.

    Tamara Dorval

    The Pittsford Mendon senior sped down the main entrance-side straightaway of the Victor outdoor track in 12.09 seconds during the 100-meter dash during the Monroe County Championships. This is a season-best in Section V. She also was runner-up in the 200 dash.

    Zoe Eaton

    The Wayne softball star hit a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning in a 9-6 win over Palmyra-Macedon in Friday's first round.

    Anna Forman

    The Greece Athena sophomore had five touchdown passes while she completed 15 of 19 passing attempts for 108 yards, 54 rushing yards, made three flag pulls or "tackles" and intercepted a pass to help Greece Athena win the team's Section V girls flag football tournament semifinal.

    Emma Goodell

    The Victor freshman swept the 100-meter and 400 hurdles races during the Monroe County Championships at her school's outdoor track. Goodell's 100 hurdles time (15.27) is a season-best in Section V. Her 400 hurdles race (1:05.32) is second-best in Section V this season.

    Mallory Hilldreth

    The Pittsford Mendon senior is the new leader on the Section V outdoor track and field 2,000-meter steeplechase leaderboard. She ran the race that includes water pits in 7:16.84 during the Monroe County Championships at Victor.

    Emma LaBour

    The Midlakes softball star hit a walk-off RBI-double during a 4-3 come-from-behind win over Hornell in Saturday's first round. LaBour and the Screaming Eagles (16-4) broke a school record for wins and won their first Finger Lakes East title.

    Ireland Mistretta

    The junior for Brighton girls lacrosse posted 6 goals, 1 assist and 9 draw controls in the team’s win over Mercy on Thursday.

    Giana Mruczek

    The Batavia softball star threw a perfect game with 9 strikeouts during an 18-0 win over Newark in Friday's first round. Mruczek recently surpassed over 460 career Ks.

    Mikayla Mrzywka

    The Penfield junior threw two passes for touchdowns as she completed 16 of 23 attempts for 203 yards while the Patriots won the team's Section V tournament quarterfinal.

    Maci Mueller

    Mueller, a sophomore for Waterloo girls lacrosse, totaled 23 goals and 33 points in three games last week, including a 9-goal showing in the regular season finale. Mueller’s 88 goals during the regular season led Section V.

    Ella Radley

    The Batavia senior rushed for 117 yards with a touchdown as the Blue Devils won the team's Section V girls flag football tournament semifinal.

    Brianna Reynolds

    The Pembroke junior went to the Genesee Region Championships for outdoor track and field in Attica and ran a Section V season-best 400 intermediate hurdles race (1:04.78).

    Marykate Rudnicki

    The Fairport senior ran a Section V outdoor track and field season-best 200-meter dash in 25.07 seconds during the Monroe County Championships at Victor.

    Sarah Tawaf

    A junior on the Greece Olympia/Odyssey girls flag football team, she helped the Griffins win their first Section V tournament game with 2 touchdown runs among more than 130 rushing yards on 20 carries.

    Heidi Tran

    The Gates Chili junior made the highest jump among girls in the Section V outdoor track and field season, when she cleared 11-5 during the pole vault event at the Monroe County Championships.

    Elizabeth Tytler

    The Irondequoit junior moved to the top of the Section V outdoor track and field 1,500-meter leaderboard with a race in 4:42.11 during the Monroe County Championships at Victor.

    Mac Wood

    The Spencerport senior ran for a touchdown and threw two touchdown passes, including one with one second remaining, to help the Rangers win one of two Section V girls flag football tournament games.

    Anna Varland

    The Batavia senior threw two touchdown passes and ran for another touchdown in a Section V girls flag football tournament semifinal. She connected on 16 of 24 throws for 134 yards and rushed for 91 yards.
