Investigation underway in Rochester stabbing death

An investigation is ongoing following the stabbing death of a 53-year-old man in Rochester on Saturday.

According to Rochester police, officers responded to Bartlett Street around 10 p.m. after receiving reports of an injured man in the street. Upon arrival, they found the victim, who has not yet been identified, with at least one stab wound to his torso.

The man was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to call 911.
